| Description |
D-130 is a self-contained EML (DFB + EA
modulator) source optimized for high-speed modulation up to 12.5 Gbps. The unit
is intended to be modulated by a pattern generator for testing the performance
of optoelectronic components such as photodetectors and receivers. D-130 is
powered by a wall plug unit. The data input is through an SMA connector, and the
optical port is an FC single-mode connector. There are control pots for adjusting
eye amplitude, zero crossing, and extinction ratio.
